Type 4 hair can be such a PAIN to manage and I know a lot of us D R E A D wash day. Reasons include: that it takes a long time to wash your hair, how tangled the hair gets when using shampoo, cannot find the right products to use that will not strip your hair as much, do not have enough time to detangle the hair properly or do a deep treatment masque. That is just a few issue us type 4 hair people have to face when wash days rolls along once a week or every two weeks. But with this routine I’ve came up with, I find it very simple to complete my full wash day in under 45 minutes!
Say what????!?! Under 45 minutes??? Yes. I know that it takes a long while, up to even an hour and 30 minutes for some people to fully clean, detangle, and apply a deep treatment to their hair. But with this routine, my scalp and hair are fully cleansed, my hair is detangled by the Gods, and I leave the shower with hydrated curls in under 45 minutes.

Try this routine out to see if you get good results in a good time frame. And the second wash is optional. I usually only shampoo once but my hair was in marley twists for a month so I had to really show my hair love this wash day. Enjoy!
