*THIS is a protective style because:
The basic concept is to preserve “something valuable” I.e OUR HAIR – from damage and harm.

Protective styling reduces ongoing manipulation of the hair, encourages growth retention and furthermore reduces knots and tangles.

Protective styling doesn’t require much daily upkeep or constant manipulation.

I am able to wear my hair like this for up to two weeks without restyling/ manipulating, encouraging my hair to flourish and remain HEALTHY 🙂
