Hey guys! Today I show you how I keep my hair long and healthy during the colder seasons. People ask me all of the time, “How do you leave the house without blow-drying your hair or without dripping wet hair”?.. and in this video, I show you exactly how I achieve that! I also show you the products that I’ve been using lately to keep my natural hair healthy, shiny, moisturized and long!

Product Mentioned in order:
–Cleanser- “Creme of Nature Acai Berry & Keratin Strengthening Shampoo”: https://goo.gl/v7uh9C

Hair Questions:
–“How often do you wash your hair”?: every 3-4 days

–“So do you cowash every 3-4 days”?: I never cowash (I used to when I was newly natural). Now, I always wash my hair with a cleanser

–“You use sulfates”?: Yes, I use sulfates every 2 weeks to remove the product build-up since I use silicones, and products with shea butter and oils. Without proper remove of these products, they can buildup on the hair and lead to dehydrated curls which= breakage

–“How long does this process take?”- around 1 hour (it used to take 3-4 hours when I waited every 1-2 weeks)

–“What is the difference between this routine and your previous ones”?: As I continue my natural hair journey, I find new products that I think work great for my hair and for the current season. If you’ve watched my previous videos, you’ll see that my routines do not drastically change. My detangling conditioners usually stay the same (either Aussie Moist, Nourish Spa, or Hello Hydration because of love their amount of slippage). However, my cleansers, leave-in’s, and stylers usually change. I also make slight changes to my washing routine and washing frequencies so that I can get the healthiest and most moisturized hair, and I like to share those updates and changes with you.
